Getting started
What happens during the free intro?
We meet for 30 minutes at Patrick's Gym. We talk about your goal, your training background and any injuries, and I explain how I would approach it. There's no obligation to continue.
Do I need to be fit to start?
No. We start at your current level and build up from there. The plan is made for where you are now, not where you think you should be.
What should I bring?
Comfortable sports clothes, training shoes, a water bottle and a towel.
Do you coach in English?
Yes. I coach in both Dutch and English.
How do I book a session?
Request a free intro through the form or send a WhatsApp. I'll reply personally within 24 hours.
The training
Is the training 1-on-1?
Yes. Every session is 1-on-1, tailored to your goal and level.
What does the coaching look like?
You get a clear plan instead of random workouts. We start with an intro and an assessment, then train 1-on-1 and re-test regularly, so your progress stays visible.
How often should I train?
Most clients train with me one to three times a week, sometimes combined with sessions on their own. During the intro we decide what fits your goal and your schedule.
Do I get a plan for training on my own?
Yes. You get your training plan on your phone, with sets, reps and weights, so you know exactly what to do when you train without me.
What results can I expect?
You get stronger, fitter and move with less pain, with progress you can measure. We test at the start and re-test regularly, so you see it in numbers.
I have pain or an injury. Can I still train?
Often, yes. I adjust the exercises to what's pain-free for you and build up step by step. I'm a personal trainer, not a doctor or physiotherapist, so with a medical condition or a recent injury, check with your GP or physiotherapist first. Tell me about it during the intro, so I can take it into account.
Muay Thai
Do you offer Muay Thai sessions?
Yes. You can book Muay Thai on its own or combine it with strength training, depending on your goal.
What can I expect from a Muay Thai session?
Technique, padwork and conditioning, built up step by step. You learn to punch, kick, knee and elbow properly, and you get fitter while doing it.
Is Muay Thai suitable for beginners?
Absolutely. I coach complete beginners to experienced fighters, step by step.
Prices and payment
What does personal training cost?
A single 60-minute session is €85. A package of 10 sessions is €850, including an assessment at the start, a personal training plan and re-tests along the way.
How do I pay?
You'll receive an invoice by email. Pay with iDEAL or bank transfer.
Can I cancel or reschedule a session?
Yes. You can cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 24 hours in advance. If you cancel later or don't show up, the session is charged or deducted from your package.
Location and Performance Scan
Where do the sessions take place?
At Patrick's Gym, Marius Bauerstraat 28, 1062 AR Amsterdam.
Do I need to be a member of Patrick's Gym?
No. You don't need a gym membership to train with me. You only pay for your personal training sessions. Want to train on your own at Patrick's Gym as well? For that you need a membership at the gym.
What is the Performance Scan?
A 90-minute assessment with more than 20 measurements of your body composition, posture, mobility, strength and conditioning. You get a personal report and training plan. It's a fitness assessment, not a medical examination.
